The best hairstyles for a busy life

Hair is an important part of our identity, but finding the balance between low maintenance and effortless styles that aren't boring can be difficult!  My goal as a hair dresser is to help you achieve the look you want and feel relaxed in the process. I don't mind if you need to eat during your appointment, if you fall asleep at the basin or even if you need to work from your laptop without small talk!

I'm going to share some examples of how to keep your style looking fresh and manageable when life gets full and busy.

Pixie cut
For the seeking a chic and daring look, a pixie cut is a fantastic choice. It's a short and low maintenance cut that exudes confidence and style.

Shoulder length cut
A shoulder length style is a good balance between long and short, creating a sophisticated and polished look. It works well for all face shapes and hair types.

Bob cut
The classic bob is a versatile and timeless option. It can be tailored to various lengths, from chin-length to shoulder-length. A bob frames the face beautifully and works well for different hair textures. A blunt bob gives you the possibility of a fringe, which can add an element of softness.

Long layered hair
This style remains a popular choice, offering versatility and elegance. It enhances natural texture and allows for various styling options. It gives you the option of incorporating a face-framing fringe from about chin level down.

Shaggy layers
Many people tell me they don't want their layers too short because they know that their hair gets too bulky on top - this is an issue with technique, not your hair. Shaggy layers can be seamless, soft and beautiful, allowing the hair to almost style itself without too much work! This haircut works well for medium to long length and suits various hair types.

Above all, keep in mind that hair is a totally individual choice and you should always go for whatever look makes you feel most confident and happy. When your hair looks amazing, you will look and feel amazing too.
